Each Floating Bungalow is hand-crafted

At Floating Bungalows we believe in building a product meant to last. From the hull up, our experienced builders take care in creating a product the quality of which far surpasses that of our competition. We do NOT use modular construction, we do NOT use interior paneling, we do NOT use park model homes. What we do is hand build our product to a combination of ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) and HVHZ (High Velocity Hurricane Zone) standards that provide both short term protection against storms and long term protection against wear. We have always tried to build our houseboats to make them feel like homes!

It all starts with our (PLASTIC) foundation

Floating Bungalows and United Plastic Fabricating, Inc. UPF have joined together to bring copolymer hulls to the floating home market. Since their inception, Floating Bungalows realized that the key to building quality floating homes was to do so from the “bottom up” and what was put on the bottom was critical to creating a quality product. These copolymer hulls create the ideal foundation. Not only are they heavy duty and light weight, they are also extremely durable.
